Weekend Wrap-Up!

Happy Monday morning!

I hope that everyone had a beautiful weekend full of sunshine, and that your coffees are strong for this Monday morning. 🙂 I have some photos & some new things that I got over the weekend that I want to share with you guys!

Friday night I got together with some of my girls after work for a home-made dinner and some drinks! We all worked together for quite a while and ever since we separated, we made a pact to get together at least once a month to catch up. It was DOWN POURING, so I ran home to change into leggings and a big comfy sweatshirt, and we had so much fun just eating and relaxing with the girls.

We played Cards Against Humanity, which I had never played before. GUYS, it’s sooooooo funny. However, if you’re like me and hadn’t played before, it is DEFINITELY not something to play around children!

Saturday morning I was up bright and early for work. Luckily, my work day was made when I had a very cute visitor named Baloo..

He’s an American Bully breed, which I had never heard of – I thought he was a handsome little pitbull pup!

After work, my boyfriend and I relaxed for most of the afternoon. We left the house just in time to be blessed by these May skies… #nofilter 😉

Later that evening, we had a nice dinner at a local restaurant and passed out early! The perfect Saturday night ❤

On Sunday morning, I was just relaxing in my bathrobe when I got a text from Jenny that she’s almost at my house, AND surprising me with some Starbucks! Shay recommended the new coconut cold brew, so we thought we’d give it a try!

Review: meh

Don’t mind my wet hair straight out of the shower & the PJ pants!

She met up with some friends for lunch, but before she headed home I met up with her for a quick Target trip. If I had to choose what I miss most about her living here, it’d definitely be our spontaneous Target trips together!

then somewhere along the way, the Target trip turned into a parking lot photo shoot… 😉 (long distance sissy probz)

While my hair was still wet, I had her do double french braids so I could sleep on them and have voluminous lion hair for this Monday morning!

Jenny headed back to Boston just in time for me to spend some quality time with my Mum! We went to our FAVORITE pho spot.

If anyone is ever in Massachusetts and wants some really, reallllllllllly good pho, let me know – I have the secret spot!

Not feeling well and still gorgeous! ❤

So… now I’m going to show you a couple things I picked up this weekend!

First off, I had been on the fence on whether or not I wanted the FujiFilm Instax instant photo camera for a while now. I had almost bought it SO many times, and changed my mind last second. Friday night, one of the girls brought hers with her to dinner and we snapped some pictures. It was a wrap! I needed this!

I checked Best Buy, and it was on sale. I picked one up Sunday. 🙂

Best Buy was also running a sale on the film, so it was completely sold out. Bummer. I’m anxiously awaiting my Amazon order so I can try this sucker out!

I am SO excited to see how these come out, look forward to a Polaroid post coming soon! 😉

Now at Target, I found quite a few cute treasures!

My plan is to frame a string of mini polaroids from the Instax, and these sparkly rose gold clips will be holding them. How cute?!

To go along with my copper kitchen theme, I found this basket in the $5 finds! I plan to use it as a bread basket. 🙂

I also picked up a really cute dark fur throw pillow for my couch, but forgot to snap a picture! Jenny and I tried on so many different outfits with high hopes, but this Target run was quite the disappointment for clothing. * sad face *

andddddddd, now it’s Monday! Back to work!

How was everyone’s weekend? What did you guys do?!

      1. I love it! Its so much fun! I have a little collection of polaroids now, and it’s slowly growing. The film is expensive though which is the only flaw. It just means I’m a bit picky about when I bring it out 🙂

  3. GIRL! I’m sorry I have been SO MIA. But it looks like you had such a wonderful weekend. Cards Against Humanity is my ALL TIME favorite game- it’s so horrible, it’s so fun, I can’t help but love it. DAWWWW you and JJ are the stinkin’ cutest. I have never heard of that camera— does it produce polaroid like pictures? HOW COOL! I loved having a second to stop by here. I’m glad you had such a beautiful weekend, dear!

    1. Hey girl! Honestly… cards against humanity was so hilarious I have never laughed so hard at a card game… and they have all types of expansion packs for additional cards! The instax makes adorable mini polaroids! I got my film in the mail yesterday so I’ll be testing it out tonight 🙂 For $50… you can’t go wrong, so cute!!! xoxxx
