Even though it’s Tuesday… it’s a Monday for me, and yet again I find myself thankful for bankers hours. 🙂
I had the BEST holiday weekend. I truly believe there is no feeling better than Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Surrounded by family, all so warm and happy, my heart was so full.
On Saturday, I woke up excited. Like I told y’all about in week 5, Christmas Eve is my favorite day of the wholeeee year. I worked until about noon time, and the morning couldn’t go by quick enough, I was so anxious to get home. I rushed home, wrapped the last of the gifts, and got my butt into the shower.
(once again, don’t mind the background scribble, tornado Brittney getting ready had just swept through my bedroom…)

Every year, my mom’s side of the family gets together at my aunts house for Christmas Eve dinner. It’s so cozy and I look forward to this night every year!

I was so exhausted by the time I got home, but in true Brittney fashion, I was awake by 7:30 AM on Christmas Day. I couldn’t wait to get to my moms house!
I might be a Christmas elf, but no one does Christmas like my mom! Her house looked amazing and the tree was GORGEOUS! ❤
We opened presents for what felt like and probably was, three hours. I am so thankful and blessed for the people I have in my life and the the love we have for each other. Thank you God for another beautiful Christmas with my family. ❤
Christmas fell on a Sunday, which gave me Monday off. Monday looked whole lot like this…
which led to the creation of…

As I finish this post I’m thinking of two things. I’m thankful for this blog as a way to communicate and share my life with others from all around the world that enjoy the same things I do. However, I am extra thankful that I have brittsdailydose as a way to document my most special moments and memories.
These days are long, but the years are short. ❤
