Ahhh.. the last day of reminiscing my California trip. I’m sad, guys!
This trip was definitely in my top 3 vacations ever, we did everything I wanted and more. I cannot wait to go back to California – we’ve already decided on a NorCal trip for next time. This girl wants to see her some Big Sur & redwoods 😉
Day 6 wasn’t too exciting… we had an 11:30 AM flight, so we basically woke up, got prepared for the flight, grabbed a coffee and some breakfast, and headed out.
This little coffee shop was right down the street from where we were staying, and we unfortunately discovered it on the last morning!
Other than Martha’s Vineyard (which is my favorite place on.earth.) I’ve never had the feeling of really, truly, not wanting to leave a place. I felt like this. I did NOT want to leave California. I can see myself staying there forever.
We landed in Boston around 11 PM and I was back to this view by 8 the next morning…
THEN… I got sick. I missed work for a few days. It might’ve been the traveling, I might’ve gotten run down… who knows. I have good winters and bad winters and this one I’ve already had two colds 😦
First on the to-do list once we got home, GET OUR CHRISTMAS TREE!
Are you even from New England if you don’t have a real tree? 😉
Adjusting from Cali weather to Massachusetts in December… #snapchatfiles
We’ve had this little guy a couple nights recently… and I’ve been practicing with my new camera 🙂
I’ve had two work Christmas parties since I’ve been home. I am so eternally thankful for the amazing group of co-workers I’m surrounded with on a daily basis.
Leo wanted a pic with “the lips” so here’s a pic with “the lips” from both parties… haha!
I tried making a cheesecake for the first time guys! This was right out of the oven… it’s currently sitting overnight in the fridge 🙂 If it comes out good I’m going to make one to bring to my families’ Christmas Eve.
Other than that, I’ve been crazy busy being a Christmas elf. That includes a whole lot of this…
Christmas shopping on more Christmas shopping!!
I pride myself on being a good gift giver as well as an amazing wrapper (thanks for that inherited skill Mum) so I LOVE this time of year. If I had unlimited $$$, I could shop for people endlessly! I can’t wait for everyone to open their gifts 🙂
Stay tuned for more updates and exciting Christmas posts coming up!!
